Now it is finally gone and my mom can get her car in the garage so the Utah heat won't ruin the car.

Making Mom Happy
I spent today getting my parents garage cleaned out so my mom could have her car in the garage. It has always been full of my dads work boxes from Texas. So for 14 years it has been sitting in the garage.

Jedi's beware
Also at the parade were the star wars guys. I think some of these guys have waaay too much time on their hands.

Catching up with the past.
We went to the parade and we saw the car that the ID guys did after I graduated from the program. My professor died this year so they had a special sign for it.

Nudge bump and grind
After a few minutes and some really skinny thinking. I was able to get the Accord in the garage. Here in Portland, they think that most families have one small car and a bike so all garages are tiny. But now we can keep both cars out of the rain.

Cleaning the Mess
Well, I spent most of my vacation cleaning and moving my dad's "stuff" to his new office. More needs to be done, but while going through stuff in the garage, I found the roll of fabric my mom used to cover our old couch we had back when I was 5.

Getting to Utah
We made it to Utah just before midnight. So we beat our record time. We would have done even better had we not hit construction traffic at 11 at night. Meg even decided that she wanted to drive so she got to drive 150 miles of the 800.
The girls loved watching movies and Logan loved the whole trip till we got to Utah. So we had screaming Bubba for an hour.
