is that a hippo?

We went to our ward party but it got rained out. So we went to the Tillamook cheese factory and then to the Cape Mears lighthouse. It was really foggy so Meg got some really cool shots with her camera.

On the road

We drove back home yesterday. It took us just under 12 hours to get here. Part of the in drive entertainment for the girls was Logan. He loved to play kick the ball. It was great to see the Columbia river and sleep in my own bed. Thanks for the fun Utah time everyone!

Hot tub!

I also cleaned a little bit in the hot tub room. We found our microwave from Texas that was still in the original box the ward members packed it in when my parents moved 14 years ago..
At least you can see and open the top to the hot tub now.

Making Mom Happy

I spent today getting my parents garage cleaned out so my mom could have her car in the garage. It has always been full of my dads work boxes from Texas. So for 14 years it has been sitting in the garage.

Now it is finally gone and my mom can get her car in the garage so the Utah heat won't ruin the car.

Jedi's beware

Also at the parade were the star wars guys. I think some of these guys have waaay too much time on their hands.

Catching up with the past.

We went to the parade and we saw the car that the ID guys did after I graduated from the program. My professor died this year so they had a special sign for it.

Nudge bump and grind

After a few minutes and some really skinny thinking. I was able to get the Accord in the garage. Here in Portland, they think that most families have one small car and a bike so all garages are tiny. But now we can keep both cars out of the rain.
