Raw Food Anyone?

We went out to eat tonight at Ebisu. A Japanese trendy eating place. The sushi tacos weren't bad... I still stick with a teryaki steak.

Places I would rather be...

After a long day of meetings, I was thinking of places I would rather be. Costa Vida with Megan and the kiddos. We are going to eat at some Japanese restaurant. Yea, my least favorite food in the world.
I really want my sweet pork burrito.

Nike runners lounge

For breakfast this morning, we walked a few blocks to the Nike Runners Lounge. It is right on the harbour. It's a place for runners that run along the boardwalk to stop, log their Nike+ miles, get a free gatorade, try out new Nike shoes and talk to running experts.

We had waffles to remind us of the Nike waffle shoes. Now its back to work.

Dinner at Quince

For dinner tonight we hopped on our tour bus and went to Quince. There we were given cooking instruction to cook our own 3 course meal.
Seared ahi tuna salad with fresh greens harvested from the garden. Then we had a steak with the worlds greatest french fries. It was quite enjoyable to cook our own food. To top it off we were able to have a chocolate souffle that was amazing. I have great stories to tell about the appropriate melting temp for chocolate. :)

E\A sports video games Visit

We went on a tour of their main facility here. It was a nice place to visit. We got to see their motion capture studio and talk with some of their production workers.

We had a discussion on mobile blogging so let's see if this works.

Day one in Vancouver

We arrived in Vancouver today, then stood in line at Customs for over an hour. Then we ran to our hotel and then went off to try one of the craziest sports in the world. Curling.

Yes, that little game that we all made fun of at the last Winter Olympics. It is a blast. I almost wish I could install one of these things in my basement.
We were shocked to find out that a pair (2) of the rocks that they use sell for $6000.00, so each team has 8 rocks/stones... 16 for a game. 50,000.00 for some rocks. I think my dad needs to get in the Curling business.
After that we hung out, had a few little sodas and then off to our dinner in downtown Vancouver at a place called Steamworks. It is a really cool place. I had myself a nice steak and some peach/apple cobbler. That wasn't as good.

Now we are back at our hotel. I am going to try mobile blogging so you can keep up with us and our trip.
